2002 Beaujolais-Villages AOC Quintessence du Gamay, Beaujolais, France

Quite a fresh nose, berries, plums and cherries, light oak. Compact on the palate with firm fleshy berry and cherry fruit, with notes of preserved berries and chocolates with cherries in brandy, some cocoa, noticeable fine tannins, shows some substance, attractive to good finish. Give it time to mature.
