2002 Beaujolais-Villages AOC, Beaujolais, France

Mature nose with notes of berry preserves, some coffee, delicate vegetal and roasted notes. Mature on the palate, too, light roasted notes, polished, delicate berry and plum fruit, accompanied by spicy notes, a hint of ripe acidity in the background, has some substance, and has aged well, has structure and charm, fine tannins, good finish.
