2012 Pinot Noir, France, France

Relatively woody, somewhat dried-vegetable and tobacco nose of red and black berries with earthy and hints of peppery aromas. Relatively juicy fruit, but also again noticeable, somewhat brittle wood, dried-vegetable and earthy notes, some cocoa on the palate, warming alcohol, definitely has substance, tobacco nuances, slightly candied-nutty, drying tannins, not eternally deep, not easily recognisable variety, rather rustic style, good, warm, spicy and also again a little brittle finish.
