2006 Beaune AOC Les Epenottes, Burgundy, France

Partly preserved red berries and plums on the nose, hint of light cherries, light vegetal notes. Quite juicy and compact red fruit on the palate, some old oak and tobacco, fairly prominent, fine, dusty and still sightly astringent tannins, still youthful, very good finish.
