2006 Volnay Premier Cru AOC Les Santenots, Burgundy, France

Partly preserved red berries and preserved light cherries on the nose, light floral notes and spicy oak. More sweetish roasted notes on the palate, initially fairly prominent oak, with aeration increasingly develops ripe red berry and cherry fruit, some sandy tannins, good persistence, light acid bite, mineral traces, elegant style, slightly astringent on a very good finish.
