1999 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC Cuvée Reservée, Rhône, France

Very deep, surprising black berry nose with notes of cherries, provencale herbs and minerals. Strong presence of clean fruit on the palate, already fairly mature, excellent fine tannins present, outstanding structure, mineral notes on the palate, complex, aromas reminiscent of sweet chestnuts, lots of sweet fruit, tremendous depth and length.
