2000 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC Cuvée Laurence, Rhône, France

Deep and complex nose with sweet herbs, cherries, chocolate and minerals. Concentrated and juicy in the mouth, very firm structure, powerful body, perfectly integrated tannins, mineral notes on the palate, tremendous depth and very long finish. Perhaps the greatest Laurence tasted to date. May improve further with some maturation.
