2003 Côtes de Castillon AOC, Bordeaux, France

Red and black berries on the nose, smoky, light bacon aromas. Prominent oak on the palate, more smoky and roasted aromas, medium-fine, astringent tannins, fruit still somewhat in the background, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
