2001 Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru AOC Clos de la Marechale Premier Cru, Burgundy, France

Partly dried red berries and some plums on teh nose, wilted flowers, some sweetish dried herbs in the background, hint of spicy cedar wood. Fairly cool style, restrained fruit on the palate, spicy dried vegetal notes, firm with mineral notes, some more cedar wood, floral traces, medium substance and depth, slightly astringent on a good finish.
