2003 Mercurey AOC Clos des Myglands Premier Cru, Burgundy, France

Partly dried red berries, some black berries and cherries on the nose, herbs and spices, light mienral notes. Quite juicy fruit on the palate, again partly dried, delicate malted notes, some astringent tannins, herbaceous and mienral notes, hint of cedar wood, good persistence, medium body, fairly creamy, has substance and a firm structure, floral notes in the background, spicy, fruity, light mineral and some more light astringent notes on a good finish.
