Domaine Forey Pere & Fils
Winery Wines

2009 Clos de Vougeot AOC, Burgundy, France

Firm, roasted, woody, spicy and slightly bitter chocolate scent of ripe black and slightly red berries, peppery notes and dried, fleshy notes. Firmly knitted, fresh, tart fruit, again clear, somewhat bitter chocolate and roasted oak with coffee notes, firm, youthful tannins and a bit of bite, has strength, substance and certain depth, herbal and peppery-spicy nuances, still rather undeveloped, a hint of herbs in the background, very good, firm, tart-juicy and somewhat bitter-woody finish. Must continue to mature.
