2001 Côtes du Roussillon AOC Vieilles Vignes, Roussillon, France

Very intense nose, very ripe berries, cherries and plums, herbal aromas and intense mineral notes. Juicy, completely pure fruit, deep and with a strong mineral backbone, incredibly classy, extremely fine tannins, firm structure, provencale herbs and spices, powerful and very persistent, has elegance and finesse as well as power, ripe fruit and mineral notes on an excellent, very long finish. One of the outstanding wines of this region.
