1966 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Noticeably oxidative nose, intense with dried citrus fruit and apples, leaves, iodine as well as a hint of earth and tobacco. Light-bodied fruit on the palate, oxidative but still alive, spicy vegetal and some earthy notes, fairly prominent acidity, light tannic touch, fairly persistent, good finish.
