Ripe red berries and some black berries on the nose, tobacco, dried herbs and flowers, pepper and cardamom, touch of black olives, prominent mineral notes, light roasted notes. Firm on the palate, mature, predominantly dark fruit, herbaceous notes, some malt and sugar candy, very deep and persistent, prominent mineral notes again, old oak, medium-fine tannins, peppery notes, slightly astringent on a long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2013+. What our ratings mean
