1988 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Slightly dissolute nose, red berries, some vegetal and animal notes, spicy traces. Fruity on the palate, easy-drinking style, quite light-bodied, again slightly lacking in contours, vegetal notes, herbs and spices, fine tannins, slightly creamy, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, good to very good finish.
