1992 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Fairly typical but very slightly dissolute nose, smoked meat and peppery notes, spicy notes of black olives, oregano, tat and dried herbs, earthy and mineral notes. Mature, fairly light-bodied fruit on the palate, tart spice, earthy traces and some tobacco, pepper, preserved herbs and herb liqueur, some juniper and juniper spirits, slightly brittle, good persistence, slightly watery on an otherwise good to very good finish.
