1993 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Fairly mature nose, red and black berries and some cherries, spicy vegetal and peppery notes, some licorice, bitumenised roof board and mineral notes. Light-bodied, tart, cool fruit on the palate, vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes, delicate acid bite, good persistence, tart dried herbs, laurel and juniper, slightly brittle tannins, good to very good finish.
