1994 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Complex nose, preserved red and some black berries, peppery and spicy notes, juniper and laurel, mature, almost raw beef and wilted flowers. Firm and cool on the palate, tart ripe fruit, earthy and mineral notes, fairly fine tannins, very slightly astringent, vegetal and herbaceous notes, pepper and prominent mineral notes, persistent and has good depth, very good finish.
