1995 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Inviting, soft, sweetish nose, preserved mixed berries, sweetish spice and oak. Fairly soft again on the palate, oak makes it slightly angular and astringent, very full-bodied and creamy, notes of tar and cedar wood, vegetal traces, currently not quite together yet, with inviting notes as well as brittle oak, only hints at its depth, very good finish. Slightly uncertain forecast.
