2003 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Extremely ripe mixed berries on the nose, modern polished style, floral and herbaceous notes, hint of licorice and some butter. Full-bodied, almost thick, sweetish and creamy, sugar candy, some malted notes and lactic notes, concentrated and opulent, noticeable alcohol, quite polished and persistent, still undeveloped, alcohol again rather prominent on a very long finish.
