2006 Hermitage AOC, Rhône, France

Fairly deep nose, red and black berries, some juniper and rowanberries, earthy and mineral notes, some old oak, herbaceous with a hint of green vegetables. Concentrated and firm on the palate, clear dark fruit and some red berries, undergrowth and some old oak, slightly astringent tannins, cool mineral notes, hint of licorice and juniper, good depth and persistence, long finish.
