2000 Côte Rôtie AOC Cote brune, Rhône, France

Firm nose with cherries, black berries and pepper, smoky notes. Cool in the mouth, elegantly juicy, with quite lively acidity and still slightly dusty tannins, smoky and smoked bacon noters on the palate, still appears very youthful and undeveloped, mineral notes, has depth and length. Will probably still improve with maturation.
