2014 Pays d'Oc IGP La Souveraine, Languedoc, France

Slightly nutty, vegetal and hinted floral pome fruit-citrus scent with yeasty nuances, some smoke and hints of bacon as well as earthy nuances. Quite juicy fruit in the mouth, nutty and slightly yeasty aromas, noticeably vegetal on the palate, fine, ripe acidity, good substance, smoky-speckish hints, has power but does not seem heavy, quite grippy, mineral in the background, very well integrated wood, still young, a hint of rock candy, very good finish with bite.
