2015 Maury AOP sec Sur 1 Fil Rouge, Roussillon, France

Tart nose with cherries and dark berries, dried vegetal notes, reminiscent of provence herbs and slightly tart, fleshy and earthy notes. Quite firm, juicy fruit with lots of cocoa and cake spice, lively acidity, fine sandy, fairly prominent tannins, lots of alcohol, candied herbs and some licorice, some pomegranate in the background, very good, warm, juicy and alcoholic finish with peppery spice and eucalyptus.
