2003 Côtes du Roussillon Les Aspres AOC Cuvée Léa, Roussillon, France

Deep and concentrated nose, preserved cherries, very ripe black berries, meaty and with some animal notes, prominent herbaceous notes, cool spicy traces. Concentrated, full-bodied and juicy, nebertheless quite a cool style, herbaceous and mineral notes, very fine, though still slightly angular tannins, elegant acid bite, persistent on the palate, refrshing in spite of its big body, firm and quite deep, still very young, has character, very long finish.
