2007 Côtes du Roussillon Les Aspres AOC Cuvée Léa, Roussillon, France

Black berries and dried blossoms on the nose, cherries and peppery notes, smoky with prominent herbs and spices and mineral notes. Juicy, firm and fairly cool on the palate, firm fruit, herbaceous notes, smoky, spicy oak, still slightly restless, fine tannins, good persistence, full-bodied with noticeable alcohol, roasted notes, mineral notes in the background, noticeable alcohol and oak on an otherwise very good finish.

Best to drink: 2011-2015+. What our ratings mean
