2007 Côtes du Roussillon-Villages AOC Chimères, Roussillon, France

Prominent vegetal notes as well as herbs and spices on the nose, barnyard smells, cherries and mixed berries, dried flowers. Austere on the palate, dark fruit, prominent vegetal notes, spicy barnyard notes, prominent tart, roasted, sweetish oak, animal notes and some petrol, noticeable alcohol, astringent on an otherwise good finish.
