2004 Bourgogne AOC Pinot Noir Couvent des Jacobins, Burgundy, France

Classical, slightly spicy nose, red berries, forest mushrooms and some wilted leaves. Elegant and firm on the palate, elegant fruit and integrated acidity, red berries, not a lot of substance or depth, but very clean and typical of the varietal, refreshing, well integrated tannins, attractive finish.
