2011 P.G.I. Makedonikos trocken "Philosophia", Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Slightly spicy and tobacco-like scent of partially preserved, predominantly dark berries, a hint of dates, olives and dried floral nuances. Clear, quite firm, tangy-juicy fruit, nutty, moderately woody and tobacco aromas, a hint of pepper on the palate, somewhat earthy, fine sandy tannin, very light covering, good, tart finish, again with notes reminiscent of olives.
