2007 Côtes du Roussillon Villages Tautavel AOC Expression, FC, Roussillon, France

Editor note: Partly overripe, preserved mixed berries and cherries on the nose, some plummy notes, wilted flowers, some licorice and caramel, light oxidative traces. Very full-bodied, overripe, preserved fruit on the palate, oaky with roasted notes and chocolate, medium-fine tannins, very creamy with noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, light volatile and lactic notes, slightly bitter on an otherwise attractive finish.
