2005 Topikos Oinos Stereas Ellados/Τοπικός Οίνος Στερεάς Ελλάδος Merlot, Central Greece / Κεντρική Ελλάδα, Greece

Oak-dominated nose with smoky and roasted notes, partly dried, partly preserved black berries and plums, herbaceous notes. More prominent toasted and smoky notes on the palate, slightly oxidative, chocolate and mint, fairly juicy fruit, vegetal notes, more strongly astringent oak tannins, light acid bite, good finish.
