2008 Alsace AOC Altenbourg Pinot Gris Vendanges Tardives, Alsace, France

Somewhat developed, herbaceous and slightly yeasty, also a little dried-floral aroma of partly preserved and candied stone fruit, some lychee and kumquats with spicy and mineral notes. Very ripe, sweet fruit, stone and some stone fruit, again kumquats and in addition some quince, candy notes and a breath caramel at the palate, very fine acidity, lastingly at the palate, has grip, floral traces, very good, quite juicy finish, again with some candy and caramel.
