includes. The vineyards make up 8,800 hectares of vines in 125 communities. Red wine and rosé must be blended from at least two main varieties and a secondary variety. The main varieties are Carignan (maximum 60%), Grenache Noir, Llladoner Pelut and Cinsaut. The secondary varieties Syrah, Mourvèdre and Macabéo may account for a maximum of 20%. The white wine consists of Macabéo, Malvoisie de Roussillon (Tourbat), Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Rolle and Tourbat.
