2003 Côtes du Rhone Villages AOC La Tamardière, Rhône, France

Red berry preserves on the nose, some plums and partly dried red fruit, herbs and spices, notes of wilted flowers. Ripe red fruit in the mouth, delicate notes of licorice and cocoa, delicate oak and moderate, but slightly astringent tannins, fairly creamy on the palate, attractive finish.
