2007 Collioure AOC Les Espérades, Roussillon, France

Red and black berries on the nose, earthy, vegetal and animal notes, dried herbs and smoky traces. Predominantly red fruit on the palate, some black fruit too, spicy, some malted and earthy notes, bread spices, medium-fine tannins, very slightly astringent, buttery, creamy notes, some persistence, herbs in the background, spicy, buttery, creamy notes on a fruity finish.
