2004 Hochheim Kirchenstück Riesling Spätlese trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Cool, fairly shy nose, stone fruit, mineral and delicate vegetal notes. Light-bodied fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, vegetal and mineral traces, quite a tranquil style, bitter notes, attractive finish.

Editor note: Slightly closed nose, muted stone fruit, light mineral notes. Medium-bodied with restrained fruit, peaches and nectarines, already quite tranquil for the vintage, integrated acidity, light mineral traces, some tannins on an attractive finish. Tranquil, traditional, unhurried wine.
