2017 P.D.O. Dafnes (O.P.A.P.) / Δαφνές Liatiko trocken "dafnios", Crete / Κρήτη, Greece

Tart, somewhat dried-vegetable, bacony and earthy aroma with red and black berry and a little sweaty-animalic notes. Tart, juicy fruit with some nutty wood spice and a hint of tobacco, earthy tones on the palate, crumbly, sandy tannin, some persistence and power, mineral hints, some bite, good to very good, very slightly ashy finish
