2011 Durbach Steinberg Clevner Beerenauslese, Baden, Germany

Clear floral, muscat and dried vegetal scent, partly dried stone fruit, dried oranges and some black berries, cool earthy notes. Very sweet, but also slightly tart spicy fruit on the palate, some licorice, lots of sugar candy and orange blossom, herbaceous notes, tart earthy and nutty notes, elegant acidity, some varietal bitter notes, some mineral notes in the background, good finish with tobacco and muscat nuances.
