1999 Champagne AOC Brut Vintage, Champagne, France

In exzellenter Verfassung.

Editor note: Intense nose, partly dried and baked apples and pears, lively with elegant spice, prominent yeasty notes, loads of brioche, some herbs, elegant, tart citrus and chicory. Elegant and juicy on the palate, again quite yeasty, clear fruit, prominent acid bite, some more elegant and tart chicory, fairly prominent, harmonious mousse, firm and very persistent, has some depth, herbaceous and mineral notes, lively and also fairly creamy, very refreshing, still very young, delicately sweet from dosage, very good long finish.
