2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Vigna Castel Ringberg, Alto Adige, Italy

Rather closed yeasty nose, herbaceous notes and some dried grass, green and yellow fruit, hint of creamy caramel, some elderberries and elderflowers. Fairl firm, tart fruit on the pqalate, prominent vegetal, grassy, herbaceous notes, some elderflowers, lively, elegant acidity, light tannic touch, hint of black berries in the background, touch of buttery biscuits, tart earthy and mineral notes, still largely undeveloped, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, firm backbone, tart herbaceous and light floral notes on a very good finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
