2006 Etyek-Buda Badacsony Pinot Noir trocken, Nordwesten, Hungary

Tranquil, restrained nose, delicate hint of mushrooms and undergrowth, partly dried red berries, light herbs and spices. Mature on the palate, delicate bitter and mushroomy notes, elegant dried berry fruit, more dried herbs and a hint of undergrowth, moderate integrated tannins, has varietal character, quite elegant, very good finish.

Editor note: Fairly shy nose, partly dried red berries, delicate floral notes, light spicy oak. Elegant and juicy red berry fruit on the palate, slightly jammy style, delicate spicy oak, fine tannins, fairly persistent, sweetish malted notes, already quite mature, tart spicy notes on an attractive to good finish.
