2016 Bad Neuenahr Sonnenberg Spätburgunder trocken "R", Ahr, Germany

Somewhat balsamic, dried-floral and malty nose, partly dried red and black berries with mushroom nuances, some undergrowth and earthy tones. Tart, covered fruit, woody, mushroomy and earthy notes, slightly sooty and greasy on the palate, fairly powerful and persistent, fairly rustic style, peppery notes, noticeable oak, slightly hard-edged contours, noticeable alcohol, good finish.
