2015 P.G.I. Pangeou Plagios, Sideways, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Vegetable, slightly yeasty and earthy scent of citrus and pome fruit with white and peppery notes, some olive oil and mineral notes. Ripe fruit with a sweetish smell in the mouth, partly preserved, nutty and smoky wood notes, yeasty and herbaceous aromas, somewhat greasy, earthy and salty mineral notes in the background, lots of strength and good sustainability, again a hint of olive oil, some tannin grip, good to very good, alcoholic and delicately sweet finish with resinous traces.
