2018 P.G.I. Pangeou Chardonnay-Assyrtiko "Plagios Sideways", Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Clearly vegetal, also yeasty and slightly floral nose with tart, restrained, bright yellow fruity notes and a little dry lemon. Straightforward fruit, vegetal, somewhat herbal and floral tones, dry lemon again, fine acidity, melony hints, lots of melting, warm and cool elements, chalk and salt in the background, good persistence, restrained power, very good, tart finish with a little ethereal notes and noticeable alcohol
