Appellation in the Larissa district in the region Thessaly, The vineyards cover around 450 hectares of vineyards on calcareous soil in the municipalities of Ambelákia, Kraniá, Piryetós and Rapsani. They are located at 400 to 700 meters above sea level on Mount Ossa at the southeastern foot of the mountain and "Götterberg" Olymp with the highest peak in Mytikas (2918 m).
