2012 P.G.I. Mount Athos Agiorgitiko Abaton, Gold Selection, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Somewhat muted, earthy and clearly vegetal, also slightly onion nose of mixed berries, a little dried herbs and olives. Tart fruit on the palate, earthy and vegetal notes, light green, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, floral traces, not particularly deep, attractive finish.
