2012 Topikos Oinos Agion Oros Athos Metochi Chromitsa, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Tart, fairly polished nose, blackcurrants and cherries with lightly dried floral, metallic and earthy notes, some tobacco and iodine. Fairly cool, tart and juicy fruit, pronouncedly fresh, moderate spicy oak, still young, cocoa notes and herbs on the palate, very fine, fine, firm, original tannins and noticeable acid bite, persistent, some depth, has tension, very good, juicy and tight finish. Allowed to mature.
