2013 Topikos Oinos Agion Oros Athos Agathon, Mount Athos, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Tart, slightly nutty, yeasty and earthy on the nose, more red than black berries, some tobacco, paprika, lavender and elderberry. Clear, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, light herbaceous notes, nutty notes, more lavender notes, hint of dried citrus on the palate, fine sandy, mature tannins, light acid bite, good persistence, light tobacco notes, good to very good, quite polished finish.
