2017 Mavroudi-Syrah Kanenas, Greece

Another hint of animal, yeast-nutty and vegetable scent of predominantly red peppers with olives and capers. Rather tart fruit with yeasty traces, fine, lively acidity, chilli and mustard seeds on the palate, moderate, fine sandy tannins, metallic notes, some warmth and sweetish enamel, pepper and anise in the background, peppery nuances, certain persistence, good, quite juicy , also a trace of drying finish. Becomes finer with air.
