2013 Barolo DOCG Cerretta, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly old and underwoody, also dried vegetal and earthy notes of red and black berries with tobacco nuances. Straightforward, clear, juicy fruit with candied-nutty, delicately chocolaty and undergrowth notes, slightly herbaceous and spicy on the palate, good persistence, has some warmth, but also cooling, eucalyptus-like notes, has some freshness, quite polished, still adds air in depth, very good, juicy and a little sweetish-spicy finish on the finish.
